  • Wonderful alternative to pricey chemical exfoliants.

It's wonderful to have an alternative to pricey chemical exfoliants.
I hang this up in the shower. It softens quickly with water, and dries out totally between uses and I love it!

  • Amazing beauty tool!

Worked so well for exfoliating my skin. Used it every night and my skin feels so soft and smooth. I got the original but will have to give the others a try. I especially love how clean this product is, no chemicals added. Will continue to buy.

  • It helps maintain the smoothness and appearance of my skin.

Daily stimulation of the skin cells is a very important part of maintaining the health of your skin, and this is exactly what this sponge is for. I use this sponge twice a day. It helps maintain the smoothness and appearance of my skin. I would recommend removing makeup prior to using this with your cleanser. After use gently press your hands together to remove excess water from the sponge, otherwise it will tear as it is made with completely natural fibers. If taken care of properly the puff should last longer before needing to be replaced.

  • good quality and my skin feels so fresh!

I have been using Konjac sponges for few years now, and tried this Japanese one for the first time. It is much better than other sponges, good quality and my skin feels so fresh. Great product and highly recommended!

  • It feels like it is made with more care and quality.

I have used many Konjac Sponges from drugstore to high end, and this brand is by far the best I've found. It's made in Japan and is quite different than American made Konjac Sponges. I have found American made ones to be too soft with a perfect cut. The Japanese Konjac Sponge is still gentle, but more effective. It does not have a perfect shape. It is bigger, too. It feels like it is made with more care and quality. Even the string is much better quality. I have had this one for a few weeks, and the string hasn't broken, and the sponge is still good as new!

  • Leaves my skin smooth and refreshed!

I have tried a couple other facial sponges in the past, and I wasn't sold on their benefits over washing my face simply with hands. So, I was a little skeptical at first when my wife got this sponge for me. She said to try it out anyway, and I'm glad I did.

First of all, the sponge really feels good on my skin. It's really soft, and I like the way how I can squeeze it to clean all the nooks and crannies. It really feels nice and refreshing after my wash. Also for some reason, my skin feels a lot less tighter and drier than using my hands. So, if your face usually feels too dry after washing, maybe this could help.

I have been using this almost every day for over the past two weeks now, and it looks like it is holding up well so far. Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their face washing game.

  • Love the way my face feels after using the charcoal sponge.

Love the way my face feels after using the charcoal sponge. So soft, much clearer skin and feels moisturized.

  • I really like this sponge.

I really like this sponge. This little squishy sponge is doing its job pretty well. In comparison with other products I have tried, this one is much better quality.

    The Story behind Konjac Sponge

Konjac Sponge is a traditional Japanese skin care item that has been around for over 100 years, originally created in the area of Gunma Prefecture in Japan. In the past, people in Gunma grew their own konjac potatoes, in their own fields. They processed them by hand, producing only enough for their families. Uneaten konjac was repeatedly frozen and dried by hanging it outside for a few days during the harsh winter season. After this process, only konjac fibers remained, which could be used as sponges. People in the past took advantage of the characteristics of konjac and the natural environment to make konjac sponges. In a time when clothing was not gentle, parents wanted to wash their newborn children comfortably and safely. The konjac sponge was born from such parental love.
